Honda to cooperate with Sony, which may mean bringing the PlayStation to the company's future cars

said the two companies have created a new company that is well positioned to
take advantage of changing customer preferences and advanced technologies in
the auto industry.“Sony has content, services, and entertainment technologies
that move people. We adapt these assets to mobility, and this is our strength
against the competition.”

Mizuno, head of the joint venture at Sony Honda Mobility, says the new company
will adapt the production process to put “content first” rather than inserting
software into an already completed car. The company plans to focus on making
its self-driving features safer and easier to use.
